Take Action

Stand with Bristol Bay. Forever.

Led by a strong coalition of hunters, anglers, commercial fishermen and the region’s Tribes, millions of Americans have recognized that the Bristol Bay region is too special to be risked by mining. While the proposed Pebble Mine is currently stopped in its tracks, foreign mining interests continue to pursue mining development of Pebble and the over 20 other active mining claims in the region.

Introduced in the Alaska State Legislature May 2025, the Bristol Bay Forever Act would ban the type of mining most harmful to salmon, called metallic sulfide mining, throughout the entire Bristol Bay Fisheries Reserve. It is a critical next step in ensuring this region is protected forever.

Take action to support this important legislation.
